BHMI invites our Black community members for a special workshop with Oakland-based urban gardener Keilani Drakeford. Keilani will guide us through a comprehensive, hands-on learning process designed to teach us about the logistics of gardening, the importance of developing a relationship with our food, and the resistance that is growing and tending our own food as Black folks. This workshop will be held at our dear community partner’s working farm @homelessgardenproject 👏🏾
